Along with that mental health can be supported through access to counseling services, stress reduction programs, and a positive workplace culture that values and supports mental health.

Work-life balance is another very important component of employee well-being. Burnout is a common problem among employees who work long hours or feel like they are always occupied with work and meetings.

When employees are unable to disengage from work, they may experience stress, fatigue, and reduced productivity. Employers can support work-life balance by offering flexible schedules, telecommuting options, and leave policies. Encouraging employees to take time off for vacations, family obligations, and other personal needs can also help them recharge and return to work with renewed energy and focus.

However, if employers do not give enough weightage to the needs of their employees and their desires it could lead to a  toxic work environment that is characterized by long hours, unrealistic expectations, and little support for employee well-being. In these types of workplaces, employees are more likely to experience burnout, mental health problems, and job dissatisfaction.

To combat this, employers must recognize that employee well-being is no longer a choice but a necessity. They must devise policies that strike the perfect balance between the organizational goals and the well being  of their employees, and create a workplace culture that supports work-life balance and encourages employees to take care of themselves.
